Mayai Ocean Resort - Bwejuu

The location of the property was marvellous as we were next to the beachfront and the restaurant. It also was in a local area. Appreciated the double room, wouldn't mind staying there all day. It overlooked swimming pool.

Had a blast during Christmas! the live band was absolutely amazing, and the super friendly staff made us feel right at home. the suite we stayed in was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the beach. the food was top-notch, and we didn't feel the need to dine elsewhere - a real treat!

Just a couple of minor hiccups during our stay. the standard rooms were a bit on the smaller side, but hey, who goes to Zanzibar to sit indoors, right?

The breakfast offered various choices including sausages and bacon, the location was fantastic with close proximity to the beach, Zanzibar, and a restaurant, as well as being a 20-minute walk from the Seaweed farm.

Our room was really well-designed and super clean. It had a safe big enough for a laptop, central heating, and a private entrance. the location was nice and quiet, right by the beach 🏖️. Plus, it's close to Zanzibar and the beachfront. Great spot!

The staff here were friendly and always ready to assist, and the location is peaceful and ideal in a local setting.

Mayai Ocean Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The beachfront was fine, the pool was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The service provided by the dedicated team was really good, and having the owner engage with guests was a pleasant surprise. The Friday night entertainment was fantastic.

We stayed at a stylish, tranquil oasis for a few days. the staff's kindness made our experience unforgettable. Delicious meals with a view, direct beach access, and a pool for low tide relaxation. the attention to detail by the attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and impeccable service truly made us feel at home.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
